CAUSES
OF UNEMPLOYMENT IN UGANDA TODAY.
Unemployed Man |
Unemployment
is the situation where people have no jobs yet are ready to work., Unemployment
has greatly became more rampant in the country of Uganda today regardless to
sex.
Both
the girls and boys, men and women are no longer having jobs. The number of
people with out jobs is most especially those who are the youth. The educated
youth and un educated youth have no difference, they all look to be the same
because they are experiencing the similar situation in terms of economy as a
result of unemployment in their life. Many people of Universities leave campus
and at the end of it live with out what to do in the mother country of Uganda.
To
day in the modern society every person need should be worked in order to
succeed in this world because of the high competition of the generation.
Unemployment
has become increasingly in this country because of the following.
The
poor education system of Uganda which doesn’t favour people has greatly
hindered them to get employment. It generally bases on theory ,people should
put practicals into considerations this modern world does not rely on theories
so that they improve their standards of living among them selves in terms of
economy.
In
addition to this, Lack of enough capital among people to create the new jobs
has greatly increased the percentage of people who are no longer employed. Some
people have knowledge which can enable them to create businesses so that they
improve their lives.
Further
more, others employed because they are not educated. Lack of [education has
rampantly speed up the levels of unemployment among people. The youth most the
time have no what to do so that they survive because they did not go to school.
One may get a chance of being employed but the document of them does not
qualify to be given jobs. The fact which leave them un employed.
Not
only the above stated points lead to un employment but also the poor government
policy of Uganda greatly considered as the causes of unemployment among people.
The policy of our government does not favour its people. Taxes paid to the
Uganda revenue authority are very high. This does not favour he citizens of Uganda
who can run their businesses. As a result of favour government policy, the
people are left jobless the government policy, favours only the rich men of
Uganda and foreign investors. It does not favour the poor people, citizens to
create jobs and to deal in trade.
Thank you for this thoughtful platform but my concern is a little bit correctional in terms of skillful orientation, innovation and lack of well-trained government experts to understand what should be done to end youth unemployment in Uganda. If a government personnel his/her work is to sit in office and receive a monthly salary and other, such cannot be productive to the country only those who think for the demands of such offices erupt successful avenues for ending unemployment. For example, how can graduates of today think in terms of being employed instead of initiating income generating activities that would make them rich. 'IF YOU WANT TO BE A SALVE, WILL ALWAYS SEEK EMPLOYMENT BUT THE ONE WHO WANTS TO BE A SOLE PROPRIETOR, WILL BE SELF RELIANT AND EMPLOYED BUT NOT A SLAVE OF THE OTHER' That is my slogan and for me I want money more than being employed and that what I. So fellow learned and graduates think before it is too late.
